Announcement: The WISE 2017 program and presentation guidelines are posted. We revised the format of short paper presentations by eliminating the standing 2 hour poster session in the hallways. For each regular session, the last presenter will serve as the session chair.

We are pleased to announce that the 28th Workshop on Information Systems and Economics (WISE 2017) will be held in Seoul, Korea on December 13-15, 2017 at Le Meridien Seoul Gangnam Hotel. WISE is the premier academic research forum for the discussion of information systems issues through the lens of economics. We expect researchers at WISE 2017 to bring forth cutting-edge research that studies how IT, in all its forms, addresses important business and societal questions. Modern IT enabled phenomena have wide ranging impacts for consumers, firms, industries, and markets, making this a fascinating time to be an economics of IS researcher.
